Born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, my love for all things spooky and paranormal began in 1989 when my dad rented The Exorcist. I was seven years old. Somehow, he thought it would be entertaining to show it to a house full of kids during a party. The next morning, he was greeted by more than a few angry phone calls from parents. Little did he know, he’d just sparked a lifelong obsession with horror.
Thirty-six years later, that fascination became my debut novel, Wilshire Pointe—a paranormal thriller born from my love of the genre and the encouragement of my own daughters.
By day, I design beautiful spaces as an interior designer. By night, I ruin the lives of fictional characters. I discovered my passion for writing later in life, and there’s no turning back. My second novel is currently in the editing phase, and I can’t wait to share it with readers soon.

She said Shelby's nightmares felt like her own bleeding into reality in ways that creeped under her skin. River is infuriatingly charming; Jared will break your heart. The town's buried secrets unravel at perfect speed. If you loved Wayward Pines, but wished it had more dark academia vibes, buy this immediately.

I devoured this book in just a few days! It had everything I wanted in a spooky psychological thriller. It gave me Stranger Things/Conjuring/Haunting of Hill House vibes. I made my husband come upstairs with me at night while reading it, haha. I loved the time setting, too. Great twists, turns and call backs. Wish I could again for the first time! Can't wait to see what this author has up her sleeve.
Horror at its best.

I have always enjoyed a good horror story, but this one blew me away. It is tough to decide whom the bad guy is here, but very easy to want to support the three children that are being punished for their parents' sins. And what a corrupt community they were raised in. Sounds like such an idyllic town and I have to admire Shelby and Jared for staying. I can't wait to read the next book from this writer, I sure hope it continues this story. Stephen King, step aside.

Wilshire Pointe was an incredible read. Think Clueless meets a well written horror story. From chapter one to the last paragraph you are never sure what's going to happen. Every time I thought I had the story figured out, the author added a twist you didn't see coming. I missed an entire episode of my favorite show because I was too engrossed to put the book down. Definitely falls into the I'll read "just one more chapter" category. Then you look up and realize that one more chapter has turned into a lot more chapters and it's way past your bedtime. Recommended for readers who like drama, thrillers, and Gothic tales.
